  • 2017 School Recruitment in Northern, Central, and Southern Taiwan

    Getac Technology Corporation began its recruitment on March 5, 2017, sending in the Getac Scout Special Operations Force (SOF) to announce its recruitment for university students and graduates and its call for new troops that are capable of changing the world. Dressed up as police officers, health professionals, and public servants, the Getac SOF equipped themselves with Getac's renowned rugged computers for industrial applications, including the V110 fully rugged 360 tablet computer, F110 fully rugged tablet computer, and the RX10H fully rugged tablet computer for medical use, demonstrating the rugged performance that Getac takes pride in to all newbies. Thousands of students and graduates were attracted to Getac's booth, fighting to make inquiries about career opportunities at Getac.

  • 2017 Make NTU

    The 2017 Make NTU competition kicked off on February 25 and 26. The event was collectively organized by the National Taiwan University (NTU) Electrical Engineering Student Association, and Taipei City Government Department of Information Technology, and sponsored by Getac Technology Corporation. Fifty teams of 200 undergraduates from NTU, National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) were gathered to challenge their hardware and software integration capabilities. The theme of the competition was "A Smart City" and participating students were required to develop creative daily applications within 24 hours, from start to finish.
