Stakeholder Identification and Engagement

Stakeholder opinions serve as an important foundation for Getac’s continuous improvement. In addition to ongoing communication and timely response by responsible departments to ensure effective stakeholder engagement, the Chairperson of the Sustainable Development Committee convenes all committee members annually to conduct a systematic stakeholder identification process in accordance with the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000SES). This year, 15 senior executives and functional managers were invited to evaluate the mutual impact between the Company and 11 stakeholder groups based on two dimensions: degree of impact (positive/negative) and likelihood of occurrence.

After prioritizing the questionnaire results and submitting them to the Sustainable Development Committee for review, the top eight groups were identified as key stakeholders: employees, shareholders/investment institutions, customers, suppliers, external rating agencies, banks, media, and government agencies.

Material Topic Identification

Getac Holdings annually references international standards and frameworks, industry-specific standards, domestic and international ESG assessments, and stakeholder engagement results to identify material sustainability topics. Through a questionnaire survey process, the Company further identifies the impacts of annual material sustainability topics on operations, financial performance, and stakeholders. Based on the results, the Company formulates its sustainability development plans and targets. The material topic identification process is illustrated in the flowchart below.
